While writing this book a good friend, Mr. Kim E. Williams sent this to me. It’s not a social media success story per se, however, I am sure that everyone getting success from their use of social media will agree with it:

I recently conducted a Sales Training seminar for a national account on Networking for Sales People in the Digital Age. The greatest “AHA” was that the new breed of decision maker is as likely to welcome communication through text message or Social Media as email or voicemail. If you want to communicate to this generation of leaders, go where they are listening. Moreover, know that they ARE researching you and your company via Social Media and Personal Online Profiles before deciding to talk with you.
