Lee Garrity became the city manager for Winston-Salem in July 2006. In this position, he reports to and is accountable to the mayor and the city council for the operation of Winston-Salem city government, which operates a full range of municipal services. He holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in public administration from George Mason University in Virginia.
