Participants at this WordPress Seminar / Webinar will learn what blogging is and why it is a useful business tool. We will explore and learn:
- WordPress dashboard
- Creating a Blog
- Customizing a Blog (basics)
- Importing Media
- Creating Pages
- Creating Posts
- Using Categories & Tags
- Using Blog Excerpts
- Connecting WordPress to Social Media
At the end of this session each attendee can have their first WordPress.com Blog setup and ready to fine tune so that they can begin blogging.
Each attendee will get a digital copy of Creating a WordPress Blog and access to the YouTube Library of Basic WordPress Blogging instructions.
Each attendee will be able to get follow up consulting from Burriss Consulting for a discounted fee.
(Prerequisite – bring your own Laptop if you want to work along with us.)
This class will be led by Teddy Burriss, Social Media Consultant and avid blogger.
